Quel Valencia
Quel Valencia is a 26-year old writer living at the heart of the Philippines’ top business district. (Don’t even ask how I manage to survive – because seriously, I don’t know either!) Currently, she works for the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process who does freelance work when opportunity knocks.
Previously, she worked as a PR writer for clients such as Jollibee, Singapore Tourism Board and Cebu Pacific. She was also a continuity scriptwriter and researcher for the country’s top basketball league, and an editorial assistant at a publishing company.
Quel graduated cum laude with a degree in Comparative Literature in 2006 from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. She terribly misses reading books and doodling during lectures.
She has been criss-crossing the web as early as 1996-1997 using her dad’s office account. Today, she cannot survive without a speedy connection. Catch her online doing what she loves best – writing.
