About

Quel Valencia, 27, works as a freelance writer. She has written for lifestyle magazines such as Cosmopolitan Philippines, Meg Magazine, Maven and has also written for annual planners Belle de Jour, Campus BDJ and NAVI Travel Journal. Her works have also been published in Youngblood - Philippine Daily Inquirer's column for the youth.

Currently, she works as a project officer for the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. Her past experiences include writing press releases and campaign materials for clients such as Jollibee, Cebu Pacific and Singapore Tourism Board; managing content for village magazines of Dasmarinas Village and Forbes Park; and covering PBA games, the country's top basketball league.
